How this is calculated
H, L and C are the high, low and close of one previous completed period. O is its open. These are arithmetic reference levels, not predictions.
- Floor
- P = (H + L + C) ÷ 3. R1 = 2P − L; S1 = 2P − H. R2/S2 = P ± (H − L). R3 = H + 2(P − L); S3 = L − 2(H − P).
- Woodie (previous close)
- P = (H + L + 2C) ÷ 4. R1 = 2P − L; S1 = 2P − H. R2/S2 = P ± (H − L).
- Camarilla
- Center = C. R1–R4 and S1–S4 = C ± (H − L) × 1.1 ÷ 12, 6, 4 and 2 respectively.
- DeMark
- If C < O, X = H + 2L + C. If C > O, X = 2H + L + C. Otherwise X = H + L + 2C. P = X ÷ 4; R1 = X ÷ 2 − L; S1 = X ÷ 2 − H.
- Fibonacci
- P = (H + L + C) ÷ 3. R1–R3 and S1–S3 = P ± (H − L) × 0.382, 0.618 and 1.0 respectively.
